These keywords express the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) strategic priorities to deter strategic attacks against the United States and its allies; prevent, reduce, and counter weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and emerging and emerging threats; and prevail against WMD-armed adversaries in crisis and conflict.
This document outlines DTRA's initiatives and cross-agency efforts in support of U.S. national and DoD security strategies to enhance efforts on critical activities and investments while adhering to DTRA's priorities, performing core functions, and enabling efforts through essential approaches outlined here.
The agency will continue to address identified gaps and augment core functions through five cross-agency initiatives designed to spark an innovative and collective approach to tackle pressing global challenges.
