At DTRA, we recognize that the work we do can have an impact on the environment, so we actively strive to limit any adverse effects. It is our policy to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and its implementing regulations.
The NEPA process consists of an evaluation of the environmental effects of a proposed federal action, including its alternatives.
This process enables us to make informed decisions about the consequences of our projects, to inform the public about our findings, and to take appropriate actions.
