USD Kendall tours DTRA-developed TIS at USA Science & Engineering Festival
Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Frank Kendall tours the Transport Isolation System on display at DTRA/SCC-WMD's booth at the 4th Annual USA Science & Engineering Festival. DTRA/SCC-WMD developed the TIS in just a few months to help the Air Force carry troops exposed to or infected with highly contagious diseases like Ebola.
Maj. Gen. Horner and Georgia Minister of Health reaffirm biosafety and biosecurity efforts
Maj. Gen. John Horner recently met with Georgia Minister of Health David Sergeenko to discuss the partnership Georgia has with DTRA/SCC-WMD and how CTR, CBEP and other programs are benefiting Georgia and the Georgian health system. Other U.S. agencies working with DTRA/SCC-WMD in Georgia include the CDC, USAID, and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.

Aboard the Cape Ray: Field Deployable Hydrolysis System
A tent inside the Cape Ray contains two Field Deployable Hydrolysis Systems designed to neutralize chemical materials.
