Russian Disinformation Against Ukraine

For decades our Strategic Competitors have used disinformation to deceive the public, undermine faith in our governing institutions, stoke fear, and achieve political goals. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there has been an unprecedented level of propaganda from Russian and Chinese sources targeting DTRA projects, specifically the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP), in Ukraine.

In an effort to increase transparency about DTRA projects in Ukraine and elsewhere, we have consolidated information about BTRP below.
