CBRN Preparedness Program

The CBRN Preparedness Program (CP2) is a relatively new effort aimed at working with partner nations to help them prepare for, respond to, and mitigate the effects of a CBRN disaster. Whether a country is threatened by intentional use of WMD, or vulnerable to a natural disaster or industrial accident involving chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear hazards, their ability to respond quickly and appropriately can save lives and minimize damage. We help train and equip military and civilian first responders to deal with worst-case scenarios – and in turn, they become a valuable partner in our mission to identify, reduce, and eliminate WMD, and mitigate their effects.
