VIRTUS Distribution

Download Procedures

VIRTUS distribution is authorized to US military personnel; federal, state, and local first-responders; and selected others. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency maintains the trunk, but the source code is available to government program managers who are free to create a branch.

VIRTUS is available for download through the DTRA CBRNE Decision Support Site. To gain access to the Decision Support Site, the user must first request access by clicking "New Account Request" on the bottom-left of the DTRA Operations Center Portal. Once vetted by DTRA, the user will be able to download the DTRA .apks, the users manuals, and other associated materials. Access to the Decision Support Site will also allow the user to download other DTRA tools, including Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC).

Government program managers who would like access to the source code should contact DTRA J9IS directly.
